Google laid off 450 people in India

Google, the American giant technology company, sent a mail on Thursday night saying it is laying off 453 people in India. Google India Vice President Sanjay Gupta told Hindu Business Line to send information to their employees through email.

We know that Google recently laid off 12,000 people due to economic conditions. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google at that time, said that the information will be sent to the employees in the United States, and soon the information will be sent to the employees in other countries. However, as part of this massive layoff process announced by Google, 453 people were fired in India. Add to that? It is not clear.

On the other hand, some of those who were removed from Google India are posting on the LinkedIn platform confirming this. A person working as a strategic key account manager posted that he worked tirelessly to meet Google's digital marketing goals and lost his job in the latest layoffs. It stated that he was looking for a new job. Google is not alone.

It is known that all the big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Twitter have laid off employees in large numbers this year.
