Programs in the Statistical Institute

MBA programs

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata - invites applications for admission to academic programs. Degree, PG, PG Diploma, and Junior Research Fellowship programs are available. Admissions are made through admission tests and interviews.

Degree Programs

There is a Bachelor of Statistics (B Stat) Honors program at the Kolkata campus and a Bachelor of Mathematics (B Maths) Honors program at the Bangalore campus. The duration of each program is three years. Candidates who have completed inter/ equivalent courses with Mathematics and English as main subjects can apply. Selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.5,000 per month.

PG Program

The duration of each program is two years. Selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.8,000 per month. Master of Statistics program at Delhi campus, Master of Mathematics program at Kolkata and Bangalore campuses; Master of Science in Quantitative Economics program at Kolkata, Delhi campus, Master of Science in Quality Management Science program at Bangalore, Hyderabad campus, Master of Science in Library and Information Science program at Bangalore campus. Those who have passed any degree of three or four years duration can apply for these. Program

The program is based on the Kolkata campus. Its duration is two years. There are computer science, cryptology, and security, quality-reliability-operations research specializations. Candidates who have passed any PG with INTER with BE/BTech or Maths as the main subject for Computer Science, Christology, and Security specializations can apply. Statistics Masters degree pass for Quality-Reliability-Operations Research Specialization; Degree with Statistics as main subject and PG in Maths; Candidates who have passed BE/BTech/equivalent course in any engineering discipline can apply. A stipend of Rs.12,400 per month will be given to those admitted to the M.Tech programme.
